Six drills built around one idea — the instrument panel never waits for you to be ready.
This is what you practise on — cockpit-dark panels, instrument readouts and a timer that never waits.

Built for airline cadet and direct-entry applicants who want to walk into their aptitude assessment already used to the pressure.

One payment of R399 opens all six modules for 30 days. No subscription — it never renews on its own.
Every run regenerates fresh questions at five difficulty levels, and every score is saved privately to your account on any device.
What each drill entails, and why it's a reasonable stand-in for what a real assessment is checking for — this is our reasoning about the drills, not insider knowledge of any airline's actual test design.
Pay once, practise for 30 days — about R13 a day. A failed assessment can mean months before you may reapply; a month of focused practice is cheap by comparison.
Secure card payment by Paystack, in South African rand.

Aviation stemmed into my bloodstream the moment I climbed into a single prop to soar along the coasts of Cape Town. I’ve now gone through the application process of applying to an airline. However it became apparent to me that the tools for preparation across the internet lacked integrity and substance… those of which a true aspiring flight crew member would appreciate.
These are the modules I created in order to prepare myself for the assessment process, and now you can do it as well.
To your future in the sky and to the stripes on your shoulder.

No. Third Stripe Academy is an independent practice tool. The drills are built around the kinds of skills pilot aptitude assessments commonly measure — mental arithmetic, short-term memory, tracking, multitasking and instrument orientation. They contain no real test content and are not endorsed by any airline or test publisher.
A laptop or desktop with a keyboard gives the most realistic experience for the tracking drills, and a USB joystick, yoke or rudder pedals can be bound in the calibration step. Every module also works on phones and tablets with on-screen controls.
No. It is a single payment for 30 days of access. If you want more time, you can buy another pass and it adds 30 days.
Your account and your full practice record stay. Numerical Reasoning stays free; the other five modules lock again until you buy another pass.
Short daily sessions work better than one long one. Start every module at difficulty 3, move up once you score 70% or more consistently, and in the final week run each module at the difficulty that feels slightly too hard.

Only you. Your scores are stored against your account and protected so no other user can read them. Read the privacy policy for the details.
